GPS data not included in RAW processing
GPS-data in my Sony A700 RAW-files are shown in CO1 metadata-menu correct, but after processing, the JPG-files show all other EXIF and IPTC-data, but not the GPS-data. In process recipe -> advanced GPS is checked.
I generate my GPS data with the royaltek RGM-3800 as NMEA-files and apply them via Downloader pro / BreezeBrowser pro, running the 5.2.1. pro on Vista.
Any ideas ?
Thanks Tobias

I suggest you try to output to TIFF for a test and send your experience to Phase One in a support case (uploading raw, and tiff or jpeg file).
And also important to note is that it can be the program you review your metadata after processing. Don't forget to note that as well. For comparison, open the output file (JPEG or TIFF) at least in CO5.0 -
Thanks Paul,
its a little bit curious. After testing a couple of days without seeing the GPS data in my JPG or TIF files I started this thread. Today it worked (without changing anything). But than I observed as follows:
the GPS data are initially written in a XMP-sidecar during import with DownloaderPro. Thereof CO1 reads the GPS-data and they are shown in CO1. So far, so good.
If I move now the ARW-files to another folder using CO1, the GPS-data disappear 🤓
O.K. the XMP-files didn´t move (I know thats bad), but I thought, CO1 writes the metadata incl. the GPS-data in the CO1-sidecars 🙄0 -

I would expect the same but apparently it is not and CO 5.1 is using the XMP file till the moment of process. If that is correct, than I have learned something.
And when you copy the XML file with the image (or copy it afterwards), does the GPS data re-occur?
A feature request to Phase One could be to include the XML file it relies on when you move or copy an image from within CO 5 to another folder like it does for the CO5 side car file.0 -

When I move the XMP-sidecar additional in the new folder, I can "reload" the metadata and GPS are shown again.
I think it is a "must be" that the XMP-sidecars are moved with the image-files. I hope. they will do that shortly.
I tried a feature request resp. a support ticket, but I´ve got consistently server errors (404 - File or directory not found). So I will try it next days again 😕0 -

Try this URL: http://www.phaseone.com/supportmain.aspx0 -
the URL is o.k., but after filling the different fields (OS, Software, Camera etc.) on next step I get this error (on two different computers (desktop with vista and netbook with XP) 😕 0
