Zoom out preview
One feature that was in 3.7.9 that is missing in 4.8.1 is the ability to zoom OUT on the preview and make it smaller than the 'Fit' size. I shoot on a 23" monitor, and there are a LOT of times when we want to view an image at closer to its actual size as it will be used. We do this to check how much depth of field might be perceived and you can't really make an image any smaller than 1/2 screen size. It is possible to put it in multi view mode, and select several shots but you can't really size it exactly how big you want it. The ability to zoom out on a single frame and make it smaller would be a BIG plus. I'm sure someone thought, 'why would you ever want to see an image smaller than 'as big as possible', but there are a times when this is very important. Too often, we get caught up zooming in to see almost infinite detail, but when your image is only going to be reproduced 3"x3", you need to be able to see it at that size.

Greg... please create a support case and name it "feature request".
Since months I am asking for this...
Too, zoom-in and zoom-out should be programmable on the keyboard.
Currently we can set "to fit", 100%, 200% and 400% on the keyboard 🤓0 -
I have submitted a feature request. 0 -

I know that we will see this feature in an upcoming version... since some months.
I'm still sure we will see it in an upcoming verison... would be nice to see it in the upcoming version.
This can't be a big difficulty to code, no?0 -
13 years later and this basic feature is still missing.
