    I've tried to replicate this (Win 7 x64) but can't, I'm afraid.

That said, I'm not sure about why you've generated an exe file as part of the zip process though - it should be sufficient to create a "normal" zip file.

The recipient then unzips the compressed file and clicks on index.html to launch the gallery.

    Have you followed this tutorial?

    Hi Keith,
I'm not generating the exe-file. Capture One does this when you create the web gallery. I have watched the tutorial many many times in order to find the secret on how to handle and send the web contact sheet by e-mail, but there's absolutely no clue to the process. It only tells about a folder created on the desktop. The only way to send folders in Windows (as far as I know) is by making a zip-file. Other kinds of folders do not include the content. I have tried to send the Capture One files in a zippped file to myself but I only get a html file on the screen without any images.

    Best regards,

That's not how it is for me Tommy - I create the gallery in the folder I nominate, and all I get are sub-folders for the photos, scripts and theme, and an index.htm file which, when clicked on, provides the gallery.

To send this by email, I'd just zip the root folder, "gallery".

    Hi Keith,

My mistake. Ofcourse there's no .exe file, but as you say, an index.htm. And the directories look the same you describe. I have tried to zip the content of the output gallery as you described, and put the zip-file on my desktop. And I think I solved the issue. It's all about extracting the files in the zip-file before one can view anything. I tried to activate the htm-file froithin the zipped file, and that definitely doesn't work.

So it looks as if it's been solved now. Thanks for all your help.

    Bes regards

Yep - I said that in post 2!

No matter - you're sorted now, and that's what counts.
