Capture One 6 crashing on my mac

I can use CO6for mac for a few minutes and then the program locks up my mac. I have to hold power button down on my mac and force a reboot. What can I do to fix. This just started to happen three weeks ago, up to then everything was just fine, although CO6 is running slower then earlier versions . HELP!

  In case your VRAM is less than 1GB - have you disabled "Open GL" in the C1 Prefs? HAd the same problem on my MacPro with a NVIDIA GeForce with 512 MB VRAM.

  well thanks, I'll give this a try, funny thing is that it just started to happen in the last month. never happened before.
