Saving keywords to the photo not to the catalogue
Hi All,
When I keyword a photo, in this case a TIFF, the keyword doesn't get saved with the photos. This means it is not indexed in windows so cannot be found using a windows search. How do I turn on the saving of keywords to the photo rather than just storing them in the catalogue?
Tony

You can't. By design, Capture One never modifies source files. 0 -
Darn! ☹️
I am going to have to try and find a way to use Lightroom as my catalogue and Capture One as the Raw editor as the catalogue option is not very fast, i.e. VERY SLOW ☹️
Thanks anyway.0 -
You could use sidecar XMP files, as Capture One will generate/alter those, and perhaps LR can parse them properly. 0 -

That's what I do; I use Lightroom as my catalogue and Capture One as my RAW editor.
I'd like to use Media Pro but it doesn't handle Catalogues.0
