3.6 and os10.3.3 problems

has anyone experienced problems installing 3.6 when running 10.3.3.
When I upgraded from 10.3 to 10.3.3 thinking i was doing the right thing photoshop stopped working and various other applications had problems.
i kept 10.3 on my laptop and 3.6 installed perfectly so obviously 10.3.3 has a problem as you will see if you look at mac discussion groups, but apple of course will deny this ! I did fix the problem of photoshop by deleteing a work folder after following advice from a website.

any similar stories or advice ???
