Maintain Crops & Image Corrections?
I am looking to reformat/reinstall my comp and would like to know if theres any easy way of maintaining my crops and image coorections in Capture One after I reinstall it and reimport the images?
I tried doing this before when I transfered everything over to my workstation from my laptop (on-location shoots), but I was unable to keep the crops and color corrections.
Is there any easy way of doing this? Preferrences? Capture session files?
Im on a PC w/ 3.5.2 - Lightphase Back. I shoot alot of onlocation, and edit them right there, but when I transfer over the images to the workstation I loose everything. arggg.
Thanks

Best is to archive settings in the session folder.
Workflow - Selected Capture Settings - Archive settings.
Note that you have to select all captures before archiving settings.0 -

Although archive/restore is the 'proper' way to do this, you should be able to accomplish the same result by simply preserving your preview directory and pointing the new install to this directory. Similarly the 'shortcut' to moving stuff from your laptop/studio computer is to copy the .preview and .work files to the preview folder on the second computer.
