How to delete Spot Removal Tool

How do I delete Spot Removal points from an image?
I have tried selecting the point and then deleting, but this deletes the image from the album.

  Go to the spot removal tool, run throgh the spots and delete the one you want to delete.

  Thanks Paul.
  It seems a bit antiquated in how to do this- nothing critical toward your advice, it just seems so inefficient.
