Previews
This has been happening a lot recently, I upload files to folder, leave it to generate previews, when I start processing, each image take a while to build it's preview, sometimes (not always) taking 5-10 seconds for each file, which is a bit unworkable as you can imagine.
Any idea how to speed things up a bit?

A Graphic Card that can use OpenCL would speed things up.
However the "Preview size 640px" is a bit odd. This speeds up the time it takes Capture One to "Generate" and save a Proxy/Preview file but unless you are viewing the images on a 640px screen the software will have to redraw this drastically to show you a proper preview at "Fit". With the Hardware you have it's safe to assume that you're screen resolution is higher than that, so the Higher the Preview Size is set the faster Capture One can show you the preview... it will take longer to make initially but bouncing from image to image will be faster.
It depends on your Screen Resolution.0 -
Thanks Drew, good point, I'll try previews a bit larger to fit screen. 0
