lens profile question

with my sony A7r2 I see that when i use a native FE mount lens Cap One applies the manufacturers profile..

however..if i use a Canon Lens such as the 24-70 f2.8 Mark 2 with a Metabones adapter, no profile is applied...
should I apply the Canon profile for this lens myself, or is that profile only when using on a Canon body??

  With metabones adapter there is actually no predicable option given, as adaptor does not transfer info from lens to camera. And adding adaptor of course changes behaviour of a lens as at specifically designed for specific camera system and been profiled for it.
  
  May be even your adaptor stops electrical connection between lens and camera, so camera has no clue what lens is connected to it.
  
  Of course you may try to apply Canon profiles manually, but still it does not guarantee you same results.
