white balance tool missing

Greeting all,
I'm using a C1 Pro 3.7.2 on Mac OS 10.4.2 on a dual G5 tethered to a P25.
Recently I have noticed that every now and then the white balance tool isn't
shown on the tool switch. I have to restart C1 pro for it to reappear.
Is this a bug ?

  This should not happen.
  If you remove the application preferences it brings the software back to the installation state.
  
  Remove the file called com.phaseone.application.captureonedslr.plist located at ~/Library/Preferences. ~ means your home folder. Restart Capture One.
  This should make the software behave ! 😉

  I have had the same problem happen. The eyedropper icon will get replaced by an arrow for no reason even while the correct tool is selected. It is spuratic.

  This will only happen if:
  1. You are viewing a JPG or TIF instead of RAW
  2. Not chosen the Eyedropper too but using, for example crop tool
