    Hi-

I quickly tested and I too ran into a problem although not identical to yours. I checked on a 1D image and P 25 image file. I don't have a sample of a 1DSMK2 raw at this time.

Indeed, the level settings do not stick as you describe although the image adjustment appears to have held in the preview window until you touch the sliders. Then it instantly reverts. If you process the image, even if it appears to have been adjusted, (for example after going to another file then going back as you describe it) the target colors do not hold.

I cannot duplicate the posterization. This aberation may be unique to those camera raw files.

    I report will be made.

    Hi Adam,

I'm having the same problem with the levels not sticking, specifically, the custom target colors. I should note that I'm using the 30 day demo version now while doing a job for someone who shoots with a P25, but . . .

Any suggestions appreciated as I need to have this job done tomorrow, Wednesday the 8th.

    Thanks

    Tom

While I have made a report internally I encourage you to use the Provide Feedback option available from the C1 Menu.

Please provide detail on your system configuration and a brief but thorough description of how our test department can duplicate what you find. A bulleted step by step is better than your best efforts at creative writing. Please follow the \"less is more\" writing style (unlike me).

I have had success in applying target colors to more than one image using the Apply to Selected Captures. However this only works if you want to apply the same settings to all the captures. My very quick test also seems to indicate that when applying the same target colors to more than one image they will hold.

    Tom,

I apologize for not responding sooner. Unfortunately I haven't found any work around for the \"custom target color\" levels issue in ver 3.5.

I would suggest using camera ver. 3.5.2 if it supports your camera.

    Eric,

I can make a more decriptive account of the levels issue I'm having if you want. Let me know if it would help. It's my understanding that you were able to recreate a similar problem from the information I originally posted.

You mentioned experiencing levels reverting with the 1D and P25. What other cameras is this happening on?

This is very disappointing. I have not tried the Custom target colors feature yet, but am familiar with this type of problem. In 3.5.2, when you set the color temp around 3650 K, this would change by as much as 150 K if you clicked on another thumbnail. I also had problems where the processing prefs for a given destination would not stick. Often my preferred color space, for example, would change by itself. I am relieved that this seems to have been fixed in 3.6. But now it seems as though this is a recurring issue with Phase software. This is incredible as the -by far- most important feature of C1 is its batch operability. What's the point of offering batch processing if you have to do individual files separately?

I very much wish that Phase had not released 3.6 with this bug. I use this software for work. I need to depend on it. Unfortunately, I now have it in my head that settings that I select do not always stick in this app. How can professionals rely on an app with such a basic shortcoming? How can a bug like this be released!?
