Bug or Feature? (Edit All Selected Variants & Rotate)
Does not deal with the option "Edit all selected variants"
1) two images is selected
2) check box "Edit all selected variants" is ON
3) choose tool "rotation"
The Problem Is:
The "Rotate Slider" rotates the only one image of the two.
But the "Left" & "Right" buttons rotation both (On the "Rotate Tool" tab).
I assumed that when the option "Edit all selected variants" should all changes take place simultaneously.
The same question to all of the other tools such as brightness, contrast, etc.
It would be great to have the opportunity at the same time to change all of the selected variants

Feature.
When you select several images and have the 'Edit Selected Variants' turned on, any option in the menu below will apply to all the images at once;
http://i40.tinypic.com/ion1jo.png
(Automatic, Undo, Local Copy & Apply, Presets) *the Process option is also applied to all selected images.
This is because the values in those menus are 'fixed' so it is easy for the software to take the images and apply a known algorithm to them in one single action.
In regard to your example, If you have several images selected and you are using the 'Rotation Slider' the amount of memory the software would use to adjust those images to a value that would likely change many, many times in a single moment (a little to the left, a little to the right... etc) would ultimately render the software very unresponsive. That being the case, we have the Local Copy and Apply option there to apply the adjustment in on quick mouse-click once the proper adjustment has been made.
Think of it as a difference between applying Many small 1° adjustment to potentially hundreds of images, as appose to applying one single 45° adjustment to potentially hundreds of images. Every time you moved the Rotation Slider by a single degree one way or the other, it would need to update ALL the images. Doing this over and over would just slow things down to much.0 -
Thanks for the reply Drew.
I'm just in such a case is not quite understand why you need this option "Edit all selected".
I tried to press the double arrow
The changes apply to all selected even without the option "Edit all selected"
I will try to explain why I need to have a mode of simultaneous application of the ie brightness.
Create 3 variants.
Each variant will be modified in different ways HDR Tool
And now I want to change the brightness or contrast and dynamics see at once 3 results.
You can do this mode option in the setup menu.0
