Imported raw files, yellow green tint and hazy,

I have widegamut monitor u2413, and when i import raw files. They look hazy and have a yellow green tint. I tried to go through everything in my setup and color management. No matter what i try it doesnt help. My monitor is connected via hdmi and my videocard dont have display port. From what i can figure out, it can be my videocard or connection to the monitor thats the issue. That the signal is bad and not giving the full rgb values. 0-255. Could this be the case? im thinking if thats the case, when you import raw fies on a bad calibrated monitor because of channel clipping/ gamut miss match. it would translate the raw files really bad.Am i understanding this right?
