3.6 bugs/crashes

i am new to C1 pro and am currently running the demo version...so far i have encountered a couple of problems...crashes (at start-up and during processing) the start-up crashes have stopped (fixing my permissions)..i am not sure about the processing crashes...also i see in the manual that there should be a copyright tab in the processing window..it is not there (because i am in demo mode?) ...my preferences do not \"stick\" (they do in the preference pane, but when i bring new images in, every setting is in default) and speaking about prefs: when i select my camera (1DmkII) the profiles bar below does not give me any options (i get all options for all other cameras, none for mine...) reading through the posts here i also have to say that processing of the files is slow (compared to ACR) so is preview..also: is there a \"apply last settings/conversion\" option?...as i am used to ACR where this is very helpful....i am on a powerbook G4 1.33mhz 1.25ram running 10.3.6..camera is the 1DmkII (have not tried tethered)
