Hi, I am afraid it is not available for Capture One. Actually, I wander whether there is any non-Apple application that hooks into Photostream.

There isn't, and very likely won't be.

Thanks for the confirmation Grant. Can you perhaps elaborated on the unlikeliness? I was under the impression Apple might open iCloud sync to 3rd party developers as per iOS8 and OS X 10.10.

    Hey there
yes i am an old Aperture user, and i was very happy with iCloud/Photostream
is there a way to import to Photostream in C1 using a plugin or so

There's an unofficial way using a local storage of the iCloud Photo Stream. You can use this software to save the images elsewhere. I haven't tested it and don't have a recommended workflow but hopefully the tool will allow you to take the next step or so.

Paul, there is an iCloud API for Developers and it never mentions Photos or Photostream. https://developer.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2014/?id=208

This coupled with the recent celebrity nude hack means Apple are probably extra protective over sandboxing the Photostream. There will very likely be no official API for Photostream but I do not doubt there will be tools and workflows that leverage access to it for example

Just to clarify, they do have an iCloud API and they are allowing developers the ability to use iCloud for data/storage. But they will not be allowing developers access to the Photostream via an open API.

Thanks Grant for clearing that up. I was mixing up with the iCloud API.
