Switching camera profile in C1 LE
In C1LE, the camera profile is set in the Preferences dialog.
However, when I switch the profile (there are several different ones for my camera, the Olympus E-1, as for many other cameras), the change is not immediately reflected in the image, which makes comparing different profiles extremely difficult.
Is there a way to refresh the image \"on the fly\" after a change of camera profile in C1LE? The only one I have found is to rotate the picture, then rotate it back to its initial position.
Also, is it possible to apply different profiles to different pictures of the session? e.g., one would have the \"V3\" profile, another one the \"skintone 1\" profile etc.

Bernard,

If the LE version is the same as Pro, there should be a menu as part of the white balance tool where you can specify the ICC profile to assign to each image. These changes are shown immediately and can be copied to other images using Apply to Selected Captures in the ususal way.
As you have found, the camera profile option under Preferences is only used to set the profile for new captures and imports.

Unfortunately the LE version differs from the Pro one in this regard: there is no profile menu in the WB tool, only in the Prefs dialog. And a change in the Prefs dialog is not reflected immediately. Furthermore, I found no way of using different profiles for different pictures of the same session (not that I would want to do this often, but it might be useful).

Hello... it would be nice to get a reply from PhaseOne people on this topic 😉 0 -
This is simply a limitation of LE compaired to the PRO version.
LE has a more simple over all setting compaired to the PRO version.0 -
OK! I was wondering whether I was misunderstanding something, or this was the normal behaviour of the LE version. Now the matter is solved.
Thanks, Ulf, for responding.
