When Capturing with 5.1.1 are you shooting in IIQ or TIF?
Photoshop says that they support the P20 RAW file and there would be real no difference between capturing with 3.7 or 5.1.1. The only hang up I can see would be tagging the file as an IIQ which is proprietary to Capture One.

    Hi Drew
I'm now using 5.1.2 and capturing as TIF. When I get the Info on a capture file it tells me it is 34.4 MB but the pixel dimensions are tiny 511 x 512 and when opened through Photoshop the file is only 766.5kb. I'm still curious?

What is your version of Photoshop and in particular the Camera Raw plug-in?

I ask this because your problem sounds like you are using a PS/Camera Raw version that does not (yet) support the P20. Because however the file has a TIFF extension and due to the JPEG embedded, Photoshop opens the embedded JPEG only. Hence the contradiction and confusion. Update your raw file to the latest for your version of Photoshop and Camera Raw respectively.

Another cause could be that (your) Photoshop does open an image with a TIF extension as a RGB file instead as a raw file, not invoking the camera raw plug-in and displaying the embedded JPEG only.
