    Found the solution

    1. Right click on your shortcut
    3. Choose Properties
    4. Choose tab Compatibility.
    5. Set a check mark in “Run this program as an administratorâ€
    6. Click “OKâ€

    Thats it!

that should not be necessary but if it's OK with you I am OK with it too. 😉

    Is there another solution then?

When I test a new application I am always focused (among others) on its ability to run the application with non-administrative privileges. With CO4.1 onwards this is no problem. If the program does not function properly when logged on as a member of the Users local group (to be specific) but does work properly when logged on as a member of the Administrators group, folder and/or file permissions on your computer might have been messed up more or less. Another option is that certain utilities limit a programs capability, which is overridden by Administrator permissions.

That is difficult to diagnose and repair when not being on-site with the customer. Can't give a proper advise better than the worst advise I can give: full reinstall of the computer. ☹️

    Mr,
Out of curiosity, what are you running: XP, Vista. Any service pack? 32- or 64-bit version?

Thanks, when I have same spare minutes, I will install CO 4.6 on it and see what a non-Admin can or can't do with it. Let you know if it happens.
