5D Tethering issues
I work as a digital tech and have some questions about C1pro and 5D combo. I've only noticed this issues on a Mac and have not been able to replicate them on a pc.
1 The camera will spontaneously disconnect during the course of a shoot. I can't recall the error codes I've see at the moment, but there have been a couple different ones.
Here's the scenario 5d connects and captures successfully and works flawlessly for a while. At some point captures quite coming through, but there are no errors on the camera end and the camera keeps shooting. We are usually shooting fast enough that you don't notice it right away there are usually some shots in the buffer. At this point C1 shows the camera as connected, but if you try to capture from the software it will attempt to fire and eventually time out and show an error code. Once the error code event has happened the camera will usually not reconnect without restarting C1.
This is using the most current version of C1 and I've had it happen on both an imac and a mac book. Camera is set to PC connect.

I should have been a little more specific. I've had this happen to me on 2 different computers, 2 different cameras and several different usb cables. 0 -
