Capture one pro 8 slow when cloning or healing
My high spec macbook pro (i7 2.3, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GT750m 2GB DDR5, fresh OS and nothing else running) is very low when I use Clone or Heal adjustment layers on Canon 5D MK3 images. Refresh takes up to 10-15 seconds.
I have set the preview sizes to the maximum.
Any idea?

What is a "fresh OS"?
Where are your RAW files?
Session or Catalog?
With your system, if the files are on an external volume and your using a Session, odds are performance is lost in the connection to the files. A Catalog will improve speed or working on the local SSD.0 -
I'm using a catalog with local files on a SSD Drive.

I have this problem. I'm running the trial version of CO8 on a new 4.0 Ghz iMac 32GB 1TBSSD all internal. I'm editing 20MP 7DII CR2 files. Clone and Heal tools are very slow and the editing session essentially stops responding if you've got more than 3 or 4 stacked steps.
Totally unacceptable performance. Makes Capture NX2 look like a speed demon.0
