Offline Training Videos
Greetings.
I'm trying to locate PhaseOne offline tutorial videos.I'll be spending a considerable amount of time flying from continent to continent (and repeat). I'd like to take advantage of this time to learn the software. I recently switched over (in the process) from Adobe LR.
I believe you can download videos from youtube, but I'm not sure if PhaseOne provides that option. However, I do not have a youtube account, and not interested in one. I've used Lynda in the past, but was trying to identify something directly from Capture One.
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I don't think you need a YouTube account to view videos do you? Anyway, I know what you mean about having off line videos. Phase One have mirrored some of their YT videos here https://www.phaseone.com/en/Products/So ... g-Hub.aspx
Another excellent resource are the Capture One tutorials over on Luminous Landscapes. Back in 2013 Phase One and LuLa did a very, very extensive series on Capture One Pro 7. Totalling 7.5 hours. They then released subsequent updates for 8,9 and 10. I assume 11 is coming soon. But it really doesn't matter as the nuts and bolts of COP haven't changed much since v7. Back in the day I bought the COP7 tutorials for around £50. LuLa have now changed their payment scheme. You now have unlimited access to all videos for $12 a year. You can download all the videos. I have all their COP videos downloaded. Well worth the money.
I still use the COP7 videos even though I use v11. I look at the latest YouTube videos for changes and new features.
Here's the link to the COP7 tutorials on LuLa. https://luminous-landscape.com/videos/g ... one-pro-7/0 -
Hi Rafael,
There are some (free) softwares, such as keepvid, for instance, that you can use to download Youtube videos very easily, and rather quickly.
Edit : you can download with the free version of keepvid up to a definition of 720p. For HD, you need to pay for the "pro" version, but it's not very expensive.0 -
Thank you everyone for the replies.
I'm hesitant to install a 3rd party app on my computer. However, you (Chippy) were right, there is a download option on LuLa so this will be the way to go for now.
Consider this fixed.0
