Anyone else experiencing focus/sharpness issues?
I'm using the new 6.2.1 and I just want it to sharpen my images like it did in 3.7. They look so much softer now. I noticed there's a 3.7 setting-- great. That's a start. But noticed that the processed image opened in Photoshop looks no where near as sharp as it does in the capture focus preview. Also, I noticed that, say, I have 180 for the "amount" in sharpening in the capture preview. Once I process it and then go to all the focus settings in the output, the "amount" 180 has gone to 0, as well as a few other settings have changed to 0. Shouldn't the number settings in focus be the same in capture and the output?

Check whether the checkbox 'Sharpening - Disable' in the output recipe is not accidentally set.
Regarding the second issue, I am not sure I understand. If you view an output file, like a TIFF or JPEG again in Capture One, you won't find any adjustment of your raw file displayed. You should view the raw file again. The TIFF/JPEG is a new file.0 -
Disable box is not checked. I think it's just a matter of finessing the settings until I find something sharp enough that works comparable to the effects I got with old 3.7 software.
You can view the focus window with the sharpening settings in both the capture and the output. The settings, I would assume, should be the same for the sharpening in both the capture and the output, but they are not. But, I applied the settings in the output window, so now they are sticking. Going to say, that part is resolved, sort of. So, if you still don't know what I'm talking about, disregard.0
