Using the Color Editor in the Viewer
I have set my system up with dual monitors and have been using the Viewer to do my editing. The process mostly works well except for the Color Editor where the Viewer seems to fail.
On the regular screen I can open the Color Editor, set it to Advanced, click on the color selection icon and select different parts of the image. The selection in the Color Editor changes as I move from one colored area to another. However when I try to do this using the Viewer the selection tool works for the first selection and, after that, never actually selects any different color area. That is, I can click on, say, the bill of a duck and have it select the oranges for adjusting but if I then click on the blue of the water the selected colors in the Color Editor do not change and any further adjustments still target the duck's bill.
Is this a bug? Or am I missing something I should be doing? As it is I have to go back to the regular display to do color editing with the Color Editor which reduces the use of the Viewer tremendously.
Thank you.

As no one has responded to this post I assume that not very many people are using dual monitors and the Viewer or have seen this issue. Nonetheless I thought it might be helpful to those who might want to do this if I posted the response from C1 Support to the bug report I filed. Here it is:
Yes this is a bug in El Cap. I have reported it to the software team. Thanks for the feedback.0
