Hello,

"Capture U" offers two online tutorials for Capture One--a free one and a subscription version.

Is the subscription version really worth the US$150.00 price?

My interest has nothing to do with PhaseOne camera backs.

  from the standpoint of an experienced user....
  
  Frankly, the content is more primer than university level...and there appears to be little effort to update the info, blog content, etc....the site has been static for the several months since I signed up.
  
  I'm not trying to rip PhaseOne here....and I'll revisit as the next version is released, but a slightly more annotated manual than that which ships free with the program is hardly worth the annual fee....ESPECIALLY if that info is not updated as implied by a subscription fee....
  
  ....I'm surprised that this is still recommended by PhaseOne, as the suggestion of an annual subscription implied an ongoing educational tool, and it appears the site developers have lost interest. I'd love to be wrong here, but so far, this is a disappointment.
  
  ...now, if I knew nothing of the program and were just beginning to use the tutorials on a commercial level where time is money, I'd have no problem with the site or the fee.
