    Agree, either the slider at the bottom or at the top of the Levels graph (depending on what you want to achieve and what the original poster meant)

    Thank you, I found this information useful. When copying these levels adjustments to another photograph I understand you go to the adjustments tab and check off the exact adjustments you want to apply, but can some tell me the difference between Levels and Target Levels?

    Levels maps out how values on the histogram will be rendered. E.G: setting the black slider to 10 means that everything with a value 10 or below will be shown as the endpoint 0.

    Target levels changes the endpoint so in this case is the target level for black was 5 then the endpoint is changed to 5 and everything 10 or below would now be rendered as 5.
