Capture one 5.x and GPS data for raw meta data?

    Liam,
    Best to test drive yourself. I have not seen any geodata fields in the Metadata tool, but any geodata information inserted in the RAW file before opening in CO5 might be (!) transferred correctly.

    You will need to test your setup specifically. From my exchanges with support on IPTC pass through there may be an issue with GPS data (I don't use it) that may be fixed in a patch release 5.0.1 before too long. I am assured that we will not have the ongoing problem that we had with IPTC pass through in version 4; however why the problem was allowed to reappear in version 5...

    fwiw I have no GPS data left from my Nikon D3x & Nikon GP1 after processing the RAWs through either 4.8.3 or 5.x , which does seem to be an annoying feature of C1 as in my mind it has no business stripping ANY information from the files it is sent to process.....unless of course Nikon have scrambled the info into their proprietary .nef format in an attempt to get us to use Nikon software??
