If you have a paid for licence for an older version you could move that licence to the new PC.

Probably wise to do that anyway and install what you had before.

Unless you are on a subscription model or bought V9 since the start of November, V10 is a subject to an upgrade fee for which you will be issued with a new licence code.

If that is what you plan to do than you could install V10 as a Trial and work with it. That will give you 30 days until you need the new activation code.

    HTH.

Check your active license on phaseone.com - my pages - license management.
You can reset unused/unwanted licenses here, too.

Are you on subscription or did you buy your license?

I went to the licence management page and it says:
Licence type: "Capture One Pro (for Sony) 9 Single user"
    Activations: 2
    Free upgrades: 0

Does that mean I have to download V9 if so how? I tried to look at upgrade paths but couldn't find any

I think you are mixing up activations and upgrades. You license is for CO Pro 9 (for Sony). You have some activations left so you can install and activate that version on your systems till activations run out.

CO Pro 10 (for Sony in your case) is an upgrade. You need to buy a upgrade license to be able to activate that version.

You can download older version (like CO 9.3) from the Software Archive at

Seems you bought v9 Pro for Sony. The key will not work for v9 Pro (full, not Sony) or any v10. And I think Sony Pro only allows two seats, so all licenses may already be in use.

Disable a license online, download a v9 from here:
    https://www.phaseone.com/en/Download/So ... chive.aspx,
    install and activate it.

And you can trial v10 for 30 days.
Be aware that catalogs, sessions and adjustments are not downwards compatible.
