USB-C / Thunderbolt laptop port camera connection issues
Hi
I'm a longtime Mac user that switched my desktop to a PC about a year ago and that is going great. I am now trying to integrate a Lenovo X1 3rd Gen Tablet i7 PC into my tethered workflow. It is a USB-c/Thunderbolt computer and I cannot get C1 to maintain the connection. Connection keeps dropping. I've been shooting tethered on Macs and my PC as well as a Surface Pro for many months without any serious issue.
Can anyone shed any light on issues related to USB C connection to camera?
Camera is Canon 5Div and using tether tools USB 3 to USB C 15' cable.
FWIW I tried connecting to my PC with this cable to my computer's USB C port and experienced similar problems. It's possible it's the cord and I have a new cord on order but wanted to see if any other USB C users were experiencing issues. Thanks!

If dropping than it's most likely power issue. I think their TetherBoost products are their answer to that. I would contact them for assistance.0
