Any benefits to multiple GPUs

I know Capture One can take advantage of a discrete GPU for rendering images. However, does anyone know if can it take advantage of multiple GPUs? Either through NVlink/SLI/Crossfire, or simply utilizing multiple cards in a 'non-paired' setup.

I searched on google but couldnt find anything.

  If I understand the KB-article 1720, you may want to install four GPUs, all from the same manufacturer.

  Thanks, that result never showed up when I searched. I hate how google has started customizing results so two people can search the same thing and get different entries based on their search history and profile with google.
