WoW this is a shame!
Hi I have been toying with the COP 8 demo for a while now and getting more like I will definitely want to invest. Even though I initially didn't like the laggyness of the interface the image quality kept me interested! Today I installed the Media pro app and feel in love!! well with the concept anyway. I watched those really good set of you tube videos which are excellent. The problem was I repeatedly found I couldn't replicate things the video was showing me! Then as I log into this forum all has become clear. Seems like I'm late to this party and Phase One seem to have abandoned what I thought would be the answer to the IMHO terrible Adobe Bridge. I found Image changes were not updating in Media Pro aswell as a terrible zoom / scale preview bug. If anyone can tell me how to standardise previews, i.e so while scrolling through images some are not microscopic while others are at 400% I will be grateful.
I would happily pay the price for these two pieces of software if Phase One could get them where they need to be Media Pro is almost perfect in what it proposes if only it worked!

Yes, some sad, slow updates from this company. ☹️
Also, regarding your updating issue -- did you try rebuilding your thumbnails? Sometimes that is all that needs to be done for the image changes to show up. (Action > Rebuild Item)0 -

Media Pro is a cataloging application. It saves a preview of the state of your files at the time of import - if images are changed in Capture One or another program, you need to rebuilt that item before Media Pro can show you the new state. This function is available under /Action/Rebuilt Item in the menubar.
If you want your images to render using Capture One adjustments, you need to set Media Pro to use the 'Phase One engine' available under /Preferences/Media Rendering.
If you want all your thumbnails to have the same size, you need to specify that in the 'Thumbnails and Previews' option available under /Edit in the menubar.0
