Noise reduction no longer depends on ISO -- how to fix?
I have Capture One 4.1 .
Noise reduction used to depend on the ISO settings of the camera, so that at higher ISO, more noise reduction would be used.
However, I set it once to:
Luminance: 15
Color: 45
and clicked on "use as defaults".
Then, after processing a couple of RAWs, i clicked on "reset defaults", but the amount of noise reduction applied does not seem to vary with ISO any longer!
Does anyone know how to re-instate the noise reduction dependency on ISO?
Many thanks!

Ok, support helped, and I think I understand now.
A "default" does not apply to images that already have a *.cos file, even though I may not have explicitly set the noise reduction for the *.cos.
This is why changing defaults does not affect images in the same directory one is working.
It will only affect new directories, it seems.
I have my "variable noise reduction" working again!
