Possible changes for Expression Media
I view (LOL) MediaPro as a pretty mature product which doesn't need much tweaking. I use it all the time, and am a regular Lightroom and Photoshop user as well. That said, a few suggestions for future changes:
Pull the prefs together so they don't have to be invoked pane-by-pane from the menu.
Menu: Find > Show Rated should have the option to show images with a single rating, such as four stars only.
It's time for the HTML Gallery options to be radically overhauled. Don't bother with Flash, just improve the HTML options.
In List 'tab', it's often almost impossible to resize the furthest-right column, which in turn makes it difficult to add and view columns.
Slide show options should be enable user-set default settings, as elsewhere in the app.
If viewing an image in the Media 'tab', it would be great if the app remembered the position the user chose for images which are being viewed larger than the frame. (Imagine viewing, say, an alligator in profile, and the user has moved the image to show the head. Next time the catalog opens as things are now, the center of the image will occupy the frame. The head should.)
That's what I have for now. Others?

I would also add that there was some kind of change from the final release of iView MediaPro to the first Expression Media which made me decide NOT to move to Expression Media: I removed it and stayed with MediaPro. I can't recall what it was, but it reduced the app's usefulness to me. If I figure out what that was now that I have Expression Media back on my Mac, I'll post in this thread.
Anyone know what I'm trying to remember?0
