Is there a plan to support Sony NEX?

I have been using NEX5 a lot more than my A900 regarding the convenience to bring with me in daily basis. Unfortunately my favorite RAW converter is still not able to support this model. SoI wondering if there is a plan for it? It will mostly impact my decision to upgrade from C1 5 pro or not. Thanks!

  are there any news about upcoming support of the NEX-5?
  
  I don't want to put pressure on it, I just like to know if it is good for me to wait or if I should start my work with other Raw Converters.
  
  I have to select/develop 1000+ images from my NEX-5. I wish I could do it with CO.
  
  Please let me know, if a support will be available in the next two weeks.

  I can confirm that implementation has been done and will be included in the next service release.
  Unfortunately I have leave the product announcements over to marketing people 😉 so hence I can not announce release dates, but rest assure that it is very very soon. 😄

  Anyway, you can simply change NEX-5 to DSLR-A550 tag via ExifTool and C1 will see this files flawlessly.

  NEX supporter in 6.2 which is out.
  ..and GH2 is fully supported.
