Overwtiting existing processed files
Is there a setting anywhere that will overwrite a processed file rather than adding a -1 extension to the name?
I'd find this really useful as I'm often changing development setting and reprocessing but having to remember to delete the origianlly processed file to make sure I don't get loads of versions of it.

sjedwardz,
This exists, but only in the preference setting window of QuickProofs.
Some have a Shortcut to Captures on the Desktop to quickly access Session and Develops folders. Browsing to location and deleting files before processing for a clean folder to receive new processed files is one workaround.

Hi - Thats not really what I want. I might have a folder with 400 pictures from a wedding and only want to redevelop a handful.
I don't want another file with a -9 name and having to manually go into the directory and deleting each original developed file is a real pain and error prone.0 -
sjedwardz,
I understand. A Process tab checkbox that on the reprocess of an image giving it 'authority' to over-write existing may be possible as a Feature Request.
Please send a note to Technical Feedback... in the software under Help and/or at this Forum where Ulf has a place for such ideas.
Cheers,

It only took 16 years but this feature is available as of v14.3. :-)
