bugs in new phase one version 8.1

Hello

I just download the 8.1 version of phase one
I am using it on MAc OSx 10.1 with canon 5dmk3 tethered

Before everything was working but since I updated:
- the previsualisation is very lousy and slow, sometimes it doesn't work
- lots of the menu headlines are half in english half in french (the menu is in french usually)

any help?

  My suggestion would be to do a clean up for both Capture One (new session or catalog, new preferences, see the link below, actually a full reinstall) and OS X (Disk Utility, repair permissions).

  OK did it
  preview is working now while
  But still lots of bugs,
  menu language is now half french half english
  the "variante de comparaison" button is not working in the main screen
  ...
  any solution?

  well, preview is not always working , definition is first very low, and takes still ages to get back to good definition

  I am experiencing the same problem.
  
  Using 8.1 and a tethered 5D Mark III. I did all the professional suggestions listed above; it worked for a few captures then the "previsualisation", i.e. loading the the capture preview, stopped working again.
  
  This has become a big problem and this is happening to multiple computers here.
