How do I make "Save to Source Folder" the default?
What do I need to type in the Output Location box to make the source folder the default destination for processed files? IMO, this should be an option in General Settings: choose between Last Used or Source Folder as the default location for processed files.
Thanks very much.

If I understand your need correctly .... and assuming you are using a Pro version.
Process Recipe Tool - File Tab > Root Folder selection > Image Folder.

You got me pointed in the right direction, I think. Perhaps what I want is C:Pictures/ as the Root Folder, then Image Folder Name as the Sub Folder. That way, my pictures will end up in Windows' Pictures folder, back in the subfolder whence they came.
Haven't tried it yet, but I hope this automatically updates the Destination in the Output Location box so I don't have to remember to choose the correct folder every time I open C1 to process some pictures.0 -

If you use a recipe and set "Image Folder" as the destination it should, as I understand it, go back to wherever the original image came from. Or at least that is the way in a session.
In a catalogue scenario I would guess it's the same as sessions for referenced files and that Managed files would also work the same way without too much trouble. But I don't use catalogues so I can't be sure about that.
