Printing defaults
Whenever I am done processing a raw file and then want to print it, I must (each time) specify whether I want the print to be a vertical or a horizontal, and then specify the border size. If I don't do these the printer will print vetical and print the image rather small on the page.
Is there any way I can get Capture One to default to certain setting, such as default to printing horizontal, as most of my photos are, and to default to .5" borders on top and bottom? It is rather redundant for me to have to specify this each and every time I want to make a print.
Thanks for any help on this.

You should be able to set up a template to control the layout of the print - but not the settings for the printer driver afaik.
Separate "Printers" for the different media sizes and orientation you use might help with that.

I wonder why they haven't incorporated the print settings into the template, seems useless without it. I like to take a quick look as as I move forward with processing a 4x6 print, sometimes on luster, gloss on different brands of paper and so on. I have stopped using Light Room but I believe their print module was smart enough to remember all the print variables one uses on occasion to speed up work flow. I wish there was a way I could send a single photo directly to Qimage...or maybe there is a way. I have dozens of configurations mapped there and recalling a whole job, print settings or whatever is a snap.
If I am missing something in Capture One, let me know.
