Output Issue under Yosemite

C1 8.01 under Yosemite fails to produce an output file. None of the recipes that worked flawlessly under Mavericks seem to work. I get the usual dialog box saying the usual thing except nothing happens. The dialog box sits there indefinitely and no file is produced. Further, if I abort that process and then exit C1, the windows close down, but the process is still showing in Activity Monitor as non responding. The only way to fully exit C1 is to force quit.
Has anybody experienced that?
