You almost certainly will want to create a support case for this. Immediately after the next time C1 crashes and you re-launch it, use the File Packager (under the scripts menu) to create a package of settings/error logs and the send that to the support team via support.phaseone.com

Having said that, while you're waiting on a response from them (it shouldn't be long) you should try clearing out your batch queue.

I'm not sure where this lives in Windows systems, but on OSX it's under /Users/[your username]/Library/Application Support/Capture One/Batch Queue [version number]/

If you've been upgrading your C1 installs there may be multiple version numbers for the batch queue folders - which is fine. Just go into the folder with the highest (latest) number, and delete the contents completely - then re-launch Capture and try to process those files again (you'll have to add them back to the queue).

The issue you're having could have a number of causes but this is where I'd start based on what you're describing.

Good luck!

Thank you for the reply. While I am waiting for some response from the support department I followed your suggestion. I havn´t found a BATCH QUEUE folder 8.3, just 8.2. I emptied the 8.2 folder and started the batch converting again. C1 stopped converting after about 37 files from 216. There is still no BATCH QUEUE folder with the 8.3 but the 8.2 folder is filled with about 660 files.
C1 didn´t crash just stopped converting, The message I´ve got was this: File could not be processed. The processing clock is still ticking, but no more processing.

Am I the only one with this issue?

Does it always stop at the same point?

I have run some similar sized batches using 8.3 with no problems. However I run on Windows so all one can conclude is that it does not seem to be an all encompassing generic problem.

No it doesn´t stop always at the same point. After restarting C1 it seems the amount of files which are converterted in one go shrinks down each time. So for the 216 images I needed about 8 or 9 runs.

It's only four days, for pity's sake - the 7th was a Sunday!

If you work on a professional base every day counts. Meanwhile I´ve got a response from PhaseOne...

The issue seems solved (C1 support did it). It turned out that I had to switch off the hardware acceleration (OpenCL), It seems that C1 doesn´t work well together with my graphik card NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB.
Thanks
