Have to activate CO8 each time I open it
I've just installed CO8 latest version on my 15" MacBook Pro. I'm required to activate the software (using key code) each time I open it. Can't figure this one out. I do not have this issue with my desktop version. Help!!! Thanks.

Check your license activations on the web site. You can only have two per license, there may still be one left hanging from an earlier pc or so. 0 -
If the software is asking you to activate every time you try to launch it, I'm willing to bet you've got a disk permissions issue that's preventing the activation files from being saved correctly.
I strongly recommend that you remove Capture One, repair disk permissions on your main drive 2-3 times, reboot and try again.
If that doesn't work then you'll want to contact PhaseOne support to escalate the issue. (They'll usually respond within 24hrs).0 -

I've done as you suggested and have done what PhaseOne support has suggested, but no luck. I still have to activate each time I open the app. Driving me crazy. I have no such problem with CO 8.2 on my desktop Mac.

I have no idea. What and where is the "license file?"

Open a support case. This happens every now and then. These license issues are easier to solve with Phase One support. 0 -

I opened a case. So far, their suggestions have not worked. I'm running 7.2.4 on the same laptop without any license or activation issues.

Ah... so you are effectively running three instances of Capture One - a version 7 and a version 8 on the MacBook, and a Version 8 on the desktop? I think that if you have upgraded from 7 to 8 (rather than buying it new all over again) you only get two activations in total. Could this be the issue? Support would advise.
