Catalog drag to trash

I have been reviewing some of the complaints about deleting managed files from C1. I agree it seems more complex than necessary.
If my rejected images are in an album that is part of a project I'd like to be able to drag them to the trash folder and later empty the trash folder.
That is a bit more clunky than the reject flag in Aperture, but would allow eliminating the image from a particular album, and eventually deleting it from the hard drive.
Does that work flow make sense to anyone else?
