renaming files different order

Hi,
Why is it not possible to rename the pictures IN ONE TIME (renaming 1000 pictures take time! don't wanna double it!)) the way I need! (and also my clients!)
exemple :
12535©myname.jpeg
12536©myname.jpeg
12537©myname.jpeg
12538©myname.jpeg
...
Is it so difficult!?

    You don't want the "@" sign in the file name do you?

    © is not the problem, (it's just alt+c ) the problem is the counter than the name.

    I use the file name:
    clientname_xxxx.jpg
    and have no problems at all.
    Try putting the client name in front of the counter.
    Hope this helps.

    But the problem is that when I print a contact sheet, only the Beginning of the name is printed!.

    Dim,
    It may be more difficult than flipping a switch but to be honest it's more the unconventional method to your request that is the difficult part to justify. This naming convention seems specific to your workflow and is far from then universal standard. If you create a support case and submit your request, however, we would be more than happy to recommend it's future implementation to R&D. As this is the first I have head of such a request and it seems your voice is a lonely one, I don't know how much priority such a request will have but you're better off submitting it than not.

    just after raw shooting, you close C1, you change the names with this software and you re-open C1. All is done !

    Ok so I change my "unconventional"?? method of renaming, I didn't know that there is a unconventional an a conventional one! (btw sanoma request to do so!)
    But now is it possible to make it (the renaming) work fast when I'm processing?
