Opening CO5 with regard to last session...

I would like to know if there is a way to open CO5 without it reverting to the last session that was open..I checked the preferences but I was unclear if there was a solution there.
The thing is i may have edited a session with 2,000 images and then exited..the next time i open the program i dont need that session opening and loading all those images...

Any info or suggestion would be appreciated!

  There is no such option as far as I know in CO5. I recall that this option existed in CO3 Pro (start with a Shift-key pressed). CO5 Pro remembers the session(s) in use during closing the application. It is stored in the user.config file which also stores the preferences. Close the session before closing the application is the only option I know to prevent CO5 Pro opening a session during start.

  Thanks...i was wondering if i had overlooked a setting somewhere..i guess not..
  Now to your response..you say the only way is to close a session..
  well how do you close a session..under the file menu the options are either new, open, or open recent session..is there an option to close a session ?
