Bulk Cropping and filter shortcomings
I sometimes mix in photos from my Olympus OM-D E-M5 with shots of other DLSRs. To make them go with the rest, I crop the OM-D files down to a 3:2 format.
C1 unfortunately makes this job unnecessarily hard by:
a) not rotating a crop when copying it from a horizontal to a vertical image
b) not giving us any tools for sorting or filtering to separate horizontal from vertical photos
For instance if I sort by "width" it has no effect since I guess C1 considers every image a horizontal - verticals are thus not narrower but just have a rotate tag (my guess).
I couldn't find any other tool or procedure that would be of help here besides using an external app like Photo Mechanic. Needing to copy a crop to tens or even hundreds of photos becomes a daunting task where it should actually be a quick and trivial one.
Any better solution out there?
P.S. I also submitted this as a support case.

Good points. Makes for a proper feature request (which you already filed). 0
