    Banding suppression is a result of lack of noise and this occurs mostly in our Digital Backs. This tool actually adds noise to reduce banding. You may see this from your DSLR with High Key, Low Key, in Sky Shots.

    See Knowledge Base article # 1385 to understand Banding phenomena.

    It may be the article will give you some insight on this topic and using the new tool may get you better results with some images displaying banding.

    Ok, heres a question about the focus tab that i cant find the answer to.
    In PS you normally apply sharpening as the last thing. especialy if you are making the image smaller.
    How do i do this in C1 pro?
    what i mean is i want to output my 350D raw file at 800x523 using the crop tool. i can use the focus window to check how much i have used but wont the final output be smaller and therefore need a different setting in the focus tab?
    Or have i got this wrong?
