Weird green noise
Hi,
I'm currently trialing Capture One and are finding it great for what I want, however I've come across an issue where if I export or edit with a raw file (nikon d810) the image is created with excessive green noise and tint which isn't in the preview at 100%... I'm sure it has to be some setting causing it, can anyone tell me what it may be?

Is this file - whether is't the raw file or the processed one - viewed in CO. If it is, it may simply be that you have the Focus Mask turned on which, by default, attempts to highlight in-focus area with the colour green. I have never seen it present quite like this but it may well be possible.
If you are viewing in CO, try turning making sure the focus mask is turned off.0 -
The images look fine in CO, this is when viewing the files in any other application, so its the file being created by CO. 0 -
Two suggestions.
If you have OpenCL turned on for processing (See the Preferences) try turning it off. It would normally be set to On at installation although whether it is used may depend on the configuration of your machine and the capability of your graphics card.
If there is no difference in the output file when turned off then create a Support Case with the Capture One support team and see what advice they can offer. You can do that during the trial period.
If turning OpenCL off makes a difference to the output you may want to have a look at the potential for updating the driver for the graphics card. Or sometimes downgrading a release or two. GPU card drivers do not always improve everything with each new release.

If it turns out to be the OPENCL setting and you cannot get it resolved with different gfx card drivers I would also open a Support Case with the Capture One support team.

Brilliant, thank you all. I turned OpenCL to never (off) for processing and it work. Nice clean files exported. Will have a play around with drivers also and see if I can get it working along with OpenCL 0 -

You could create a Support Case and ask if they have any information that might be specifically relevant to your configuration of Windows version/GPU/driver/Source Files to be processed.
Sometime such problems are very generic. Sometime they seem to be quite specific to certain combinations if factors.
OpenCL is still a developing area seeking consistency as far as one can tell - but the performance gain seems to be worth the effort to be in there discovering stuff.
