How to import text list of client selects (thousand plus).

I have a client who needs around 1,000 images processed from a multi-day lifestyle library photoshoot. They have given me a comma delimited text list of the file names they want. How can I import this list into C1 and then assign a star or colour rating to the files they've selected?

  My only idea would be using 'scripts' but I can't find any documentation on the scripts feature in C1.

  If you are nit afraid of the terminal, there is a workaround to identify the files and copy them all into one directory.
  
  You basically find all files from the shoot, search for matches from the customer list and copy those to a different directory or use exiftool to tag the found files in some way in the XMP file.
