Question re uninstall/install of C1 v9.xx

I have been advised by support to do an un-install (full uninstall per https://www.phaseone.com/en/Search/Arti ... nguageid=1 ).

My question to the forum, has anyone done a full uninstall/re-install on v9.xx. What I am trying to determine is that if I do an uninstall/re-install a) will I lose my keyword library and b) lose their associations to the images in my catalogue?

Footnote: i have asked tech support the same question, but its taking several days to get answers at the moment.

  So Tech Support finally came back with "You will not lose your raw files"....Which is hardly the answer to my question.....
  
  Does anyone know if the full un-install removes the keyword library and its associations to the images?
  
  or to put it another way
  
  
  Since the full un-install deletes everything except the actual catalogue and raw images....is the keyword library part of the catalogue?

  Try the Keyword Help page, as I understand it Keywords go with the file so that they can be seen in any app that reads them

  Thanks Dave....but its still not fully clear.
  
  Given I can add a keyword to the keyword library but don't have to assign it to any images, If I do the full un-install, do I lose the keyword library. Am really just trying to determine if i Do a full uninstall and delete everything in the support record (except of course my catalogue), does my keyword library survive and will it still be there after the re-install?
  
  Support have been very vague about answering.

  So I did the uninstall and reinstall per the instructions, being careful not to only delete the files it told me to (In one step it says, if you intend re-installing only delete the batchQueue)......and I can report my keword library is intact.
  
  Having said that, it didnt fix my problem either.....
