Applying white balance to the other images
Hello all,
This is odd.
I shot a grey card at the beginning of a shoot and now I want to apply that to the rest of the images. So \" select all\" click on the proper button and.... nothing seem to change ?
All the images have different ( other than the grey card) color temperature and tint ??? Is that normal ?

May I ask what is your white balance settings in the gray card photo? Is it \"As shot\" or is it \"custom\"?

I use " as shot" for the grey card.0 -
Make sure that the images you want to make changes to are highlighted. I know it sounds obvious, but if they are grey instead of your selection color (mine is yellow and default is blue) then it won't apply.
Good luck...0 -

I am aware of that! However, trying to convert the selected images to the white balance from the grey card is NOT applied to them.
In my opinion the color temp and tint should become the same as the one from the grey card but it dont !0 -
jwstudios,
A bit more specific on the methodolgy to be sure.
At the WB tool, Select GreyCard Thumbnail > make image adjustment > with that image still selected, select all others in Session you want to apply adjustments to > click the icon Apply to selected captures > a window will appear for checking what settings you want to Apply > and you will see the images adjust accordingly.
If you do not get this drop down Window, Settings to Apply: then the first image to take data from is not selected.
Sincerely,

... not so fast... 🤓
You will get the drop down without the Master image, but no WB changes will take place.
I will restate that if the Master image that has been adjusted is not selected first, with the Preview displayed; and the EyeBall icon upon the Thumbnail, then no WB adjustment data will be applied to the other selected images.
Cheers,

I use " as shot" for the grey card.
I was under the impression that if you apply the "As shot" to other photos, it will NOT use the temp/tint of the reference photo (gray card) but will simply keep the "As Shot" setting on all photos.
This is how it works on my Mac with Capture one 3.7.10
